Gosh, it's been a long time since I've been on my blog! So many things happen in every day "real" life! My husband is involved in the National Wild Turkey Federation, which of course, means so am I!! We had our annual banquet on the 12th of August, what a lot of work!! I had to add my touch and stamped some turkey tracks and turkeys on some of the tags for the buffet, and also made some tile coasters and cards for the women's table! It all turned out great and I'm glad it's over for another year!! I don't hunt at all, but I'm glad he does... I have my quiet, crafting time while Bill is away!!
On a very sad note, I lost my Dad on August 19. He had a sudden, massive stroke. I still cannot believe it and sometimes I think I've had a really bad nightmare, but it is true. He was such an awesome man, I loved him with all my heart! My Mom is dealing very well, but I know it's just because she has so much busy work to do right now. They had been married 58 years three days before he died. My family is very close, so we are helping each other through this....
Anyway, life does go on and I need to finish so many things!! My poor partner in Gibbs 3 on the Cricut message board, she is still waiting on her box of goodies... hang in there, Jen, I'm still working away!! My niece will be getting married in October and I have her little scrapbook to make, it's of her and her future hubby growing up, and ends with an engagement!! They are darling keepsakes for each of them!
I wish I had something wonderful to show you, but my crafting time has been few and far between... soon, I hope! I have picked up some basic crochet instructions to try to make some flowers, I'm not very good at it though!! heehee!
