Hi friends!! Today I wanted to show you a name banner that I made for my niece's little girl! She is a month old and we had a welcome to the family luncheon for her on Saturday! I wanted to make something special for her, and decided on the name banner! The baby's room has grayish-brown walls (actually very pretty!) so I thought the pinks would go well, too! The dotted paper is from my stash, the gray rosette paper is Tim Holtz! The letters are K & Co. wedding stickers, you can't really tell, but they have little bits of glitter on them! I punched a tiny heart out of pink glitter paper to add some extra bling to the letters! Martha Stewart's doily border punch was used on the top along with vintage buttons from my jars!! Seam binding ribbons, and pretty white flowers!!! I loved how it turned out and so did everyone else!!! My niece can't wait to hang it up!! I have another banner that I made for a friends new granddaughter, I'll show you that one soon!!
Thank you so much for stopping by...

Teri

Wizard of Oz invitations!
Happy March! Gosh, I can not wait for spring to finally get here!! It's just time to open windows and feel the fresh air!! And to have everyone feel better! I am battling the flu, today is much better than yesterday... at least I'm upright! It has pretty much gone through the family now... I'm the last so let's hope that it doesn't make round two!!
I was asked to make a set of invitations for a birthday party! They wanted a Wizard of Oz
theme, so we decided on Dorothy and Toto. You can click on the pictures for a larger view! I used my Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge from Cricut for most of it! "Emerald City" got a good dose of Martha Stewart emerald green glitter and Dorothy's shoes and the little heart on her basket were cut from glitter paper. Oh my gosh, I just noticed that one of her bows are off of her braids! Oh dear, they really are on there!!! This is actually a prototype that I sent her, the details are left off... and on the final one, we put Attention Munchkins! on the top line! I hope she's going to like them! My first "real" commission!! Have a terrific Thursday and enjoy the upcoming weekend!
Hugs,
Teri
