Well.... another few months and I'm finally back!!! Happy New Year!!!! Hopefully, I'll be able to stay on top of the blogging thing and not be so long between posts!! My daughter gets married this September, so there will be lots to do till then! Exciting times!!!!
My niece's new hubby was surprising her with a cruise for Christmas... their honeymoon... and he asked my sister in law to make a card... she called me... and this is what we came up with! It was a lot of fun, she found the die cut for the back of the "suitcase" and I colored up the Maggie and put it all together! They all loved it! Yay!!!
A close up... she's colored with prismacolor pencils and the markers for the skin...and a glittery seashell!
And the back... I don't know who makes the die cut, but I'm sure she got it at Archiver's.
The card opens by the straps, they are velcro dots... just a lot of fun!
I've also made a gift bag for a swap on the Cricut Message Board. Gayle should receive it tomorrow, so I think I'm okay to show it!!!! I used a white gift bag from Hobby Lobby and a little chipboard banner I covered and distressed a bit~ Baby Tilda is on a star that I glittered the edges... another fun project and one that I know I'll make again!!!!
