She's a Posh type of Bella!!

Happy April! Gosh, this year is already flying by! April! We've had so much rain though, wish it would dry up a bit!!! But today does look nice, so I think a while outside will be in the cards!
I'm just posting real quick to show a Stamping Bella that I made! My first one! Aren't these Uptown Girls the cutest??? This one is a birthday card for a friend of mine! She's colored with prismacolor markers and pencils... added glitter and glazed her shoes. The flower is from Recollections and I put some tulle and twine behind it! Tiny pearls across the top and called it a day! I followed the sketch at the stamping Bella blog and will enter it there!
Have a wonderful week, I may have another card to show soon, this time another Saturated Canary... and I still need to show you my room!!!!!
Hugs,
Teri

Tilda Tag

Can it really almost be the end of March? This year is flying by already, I hope it slows down when summer comes so we can just relax and enjoy! I have a quick post today to share the tag I made for a swap over at the Cricut Message Boards. We were to make an embellished large tag, so here it is!!! The pressure was really on, it was made for Becca Fabozzi, superstar!!! She said she liked it, and I had such fun making it! I'll be back tomorrow with pictures of the art room remodel! It will be full of pictures!!!!
Have a wonderful evening!
Hugs,
Teri

Happy 4th Birthday!!

Happy Spring!! I am so excited about the fantastic weather we've been having!!! We even slept with the windows open last night... it was great to wake up to the birds singing instead of the snowplows!!!
Kaitlyn's 4th birthday was on St. Patrick's Day and this is the card I made her! She was here while I was coloring it, so helped pick out the colors!! I just love the Saturated Canary digis, Krista Smith does such awesome art!!! I've kept it pretty simple, added a chipboard "4" that I covered with paper, painted the edges and glittered the polka dots! I used white flower soft for the pom pom on her hat! And wrapped pink twine around the matted image! She is colored with my prismacolor markers and pencils. I am going to enter her in the Saturated Canary challenge which is to use twine!
Enjoy the weather if it's nice where you are!!!
Hugs,
Teri

To Love and to Cherish

Good Morning! To love and to cherish... nope, not a wedding card, but a sweet baby card!! I made this for my niece, Kristi, who is due in six weeks with Callie Sue! We had her baby shower this past Saturday! I thought the charm with those words just sounded perfect for a new baby! This was the first time I colored this darling image! I used prismacolor markers and pencils, lots of glitter on the wings... some vintage lace, rhinestones and pretty flowers and love the way it turned out! Back to my pink, but then, seeing how she is having a girl... well... LOL!
I also wanted to take this opportunity to say Congratulations to my friend, Ruby, who just made the Magnolia Sweden DT!!!! So proud of you, Ruby!!!
That's it for today, I did get a new computer... YAY!!!! So I will be posting my art room before and afters soon....
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Teri

A Fabulous Blogger Candy and where have I been???

Happy March!!!! First I want to tell you all to hop over to Jacque's Joie de Vivre blog to wish her a very happy 4000 followers!!! She is simply one of the sweetest ladies out there and so, so, soooo talented!!! I love seeing all of her newest creations... you will, too! And she is having an amazing blog candy giveaway to celebrate all her followers!!! Click on the information on my sideboard!!!
I know I've been MIA lately, there's some personal things going on in my life that have thrown me for a loop and I just haven't been able to shake it and get creating! But I will... my mind just seems to be all over the place....
One of the big things and exciting for me is that my art room has been remodeled!!! It's only taken 12 years!!! LOL!! I am soooo blessed to have been able to have it done, but now I'm afraid to work in it and mess it up!!!! Hahha!! Our good friend who is also a contractor did the work, we have some painting to finish and things to hang up, but for the most part it's done! I am beyond excited!!!! It's so bright and I seem to have a ton of room! Could that be because I purged like crazy?? I did!! And it felt great! I donated 3 huge boxes of old paper, markers, decorative scissors, craft supplies and stuff to Matthew's art teacher at the elementary school, had 4 trips to Goodwill and probably close to 10 bags of trash!! And still have a ton of stuff in here!! LOL!! No one should have that much stuff!! It does feel good having it more organized! I'll post a long before and after post in a little while!!
Have an awesome week!
Hugs,
Teri

Paper Bag Valentine

Hello and Happy Wednesday! I can't believe it's already February 1st! January sure did fly by, didn't it? I hope the rest of the winter flies by as well and then everything can sllloooowwww down for spring, summer and fall!! Today I am showing you a paperbag card I made for a swap on the Cricut Message Board. It hasn't been mailed yet, so I'm hoping my partner doesn't take a peek at my blog any time soon!! LOL! I used an older Maggie, Cross-Stitch Tilda, she is one of my favorites! She's colored with prismacolors and the flowers are prima. I hand cut the pennant and used rub-on lettering. The heart stickpins were pink, so I had to glitter them up to match! On the left inside is a small pocket that I added a glassine envelope with a Tilda image for my partner to color herself, the calendar embellishment is Jenni Bowlin. On the right side is a doily layered with a Magnolia heart. I've glittered up a lot of parts, but it doesn't show up well in the pictures... I have a Magnolia stamp in the main pocket of the card and I added a header for pulling it out. I'm going to enter it in the following two challenges:
