Paper Bag Valentine

Hello and Happy Wednesday! I can't believe it's already February 1st! January sure did fly by, didn't it? I hope the rest of the winter flies by as well and then everything can sllloooowwww down for spring, summer and fall!! Today I am showing you a paperbag card I made for a swap on the Cricut Message Board. It hasn't been mailed yet, so I'm hoping my partner doesn't take a peek at my blog any time soon!! LOL! I used an older Maggie, Cross-Stitch Tilda, she is one of my favorites! She's colored with prismacolors and the flowers are prima. I hand cut the pennant and used rub-on lettering. The heart stickpins were pink, so I had to glitter them up to match! On the left inside is a small pocket that I added a glassine envelope with a Tilda image for my partner to color herself, the calendar embellishment is Jenni Bowlin. On the right side is a doily layered with a Magnolia heart. I've glittered up a lot of parts, but it doesn't show up well in the pictures... I have a Magnolia stamp in the main pocket of the card and I added a header for pulling it out. I'm going to enter it in the following two challenges:

I love to cross-stich, but haven't done any for quite a long time now...LOL, too busy card-making. Beautiful colouring. I really like how you spelled out LOVE on those pennants. Love the hidden pockets and beautiful heart doilies. A really terrific project.
