Sweet Tilda

Happy Friday afternoon!! It's been awhile since I've posted, I've been busy trying to finish up a paintcan swap that I'm in ( so sorry, Peachy!, but it's almost done!!) taking care of the little guys, and making a couple things that have to get out, like the wedding card and baby card and also this little tin! I used Sweet Tilda and she's colored in Prismacolor pencils. My friend, Jen, from the Gibbs swap on the Cricut MB, made the gorgeous flower on the front! The paper is K & Co. , I love that line... okay, I love all paper!!!!
Yesterday, I went into a little Fabric and Freight Mart in my hometown, I am sooo excited!! They have tons of laces and ribbons for really CHEAP!! Like 10 yards for a dollar!!! But the best were the spools of vintage seam binding I found! 100 yard rolls for 99 cents!!! I almost had the big one!!!! Of course I grabbed it all, she had it in white, off white, dusty blue, tan and mauve. It's gorgeous and I can't wait to use it!!!! I have bought it already for 3 yards for $2, so this is my bargain of the month!!!! I'm going to "wrinkle" some of it, too! Love the way it ties for ribbons!! Anyway, going back tomorrow with my friend, Deb, and without the little guys!!! Can't wait to REALLY be able to dig around, it's one of those places that is a huge mess.... I love it!!!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Hugs,
Teri

Lili of the Valley Wedding

This card was inspired by one that Dena did on her blog, Dena's Stamping Corner. Hers is fabulously gorgeous, but I'm okay with mine, too! I used the little bride and groom from Lili of the Valley, and little flowers from my stash, lace from my stash and pearls and stickles!! It's on its way to Gatlinburg where my niece is getting married tomorrow. I couldn't go, so I wanted to send her something special, I hope she likes it!!!

A CC Designs baby card!

This is a sweet, little card I made for our nephew and his wife who had a little girl! I colored the CC Designs little girl with Prismacolor markers and pencils. I added a little "tutu" out of tulle, isn't it cute? The flowers came from a candy I won from Jacque! Added rick rack and buttons from my stash!!

A Simple Tilda card

Good Morning, it's 12:48 a.m. and I can't sleep... sigh... I'll pay for staying up by this afternoon! My partner on Gibbs 3 got her box today, so I thought I'd post a couple more things that I made for her. This is a super simple card! The notebooks are just little ones I altered, they are for the words, Time Flies By. I thought they would be good to pop in a purse for when the little ones say and do precious things, you can grab it and jot it down while it's still fresh in your mind! So I made one for each of her kids! Didn't add any ribbons or embellishments so they wouldn't get messed up if it was kept in a purse!
Hope you like them!
Have a great Thursday!! I plan to get some laundry done (fun!) and then get some cards made that need to go out!!

Halloween Banner!

Today is such a gorgeous sunny day, cool enough for a sweater, but not cold enough for a coat!! My kind of day!!! I spent most of the day doing errands for Bill and taking care of the little guys, but did manage to make two Halloween cards. My friend, Deb, is having a Halloween card making day tomorrow at her house ( it IS National Card Making Day, too!! ) and we are making samples of cards that the girls can make! But I also decided to make a couple little decorations as well! I totally got my inspiration for this banner from the blog, Flutter by Atomicbutterfly, she makes the MOST GORGEOUS banners for all occassions, I love her work!! Anyway, I thought I would give it a try and since I had just colored these two cutie patooties, I figured they would look adorable on it! It's a fun project, just hard picking out what papers to use!! LOL!! The rosettes were fun to make, just a lot of scoring and folding; I can't wait for the Tim Holtz rosette die cut to make it's way around here, it will save a lot of time!!
Tilda is colored with Prismacolor markers for her face and skin and the Prismacolor pencils for everything else. I stickled her socks, ribbons and pumpkin so she's kind of glittery! The "boo" are chipboard letters that I covered with Martha Stewart gold glitter! The little bats between flags are from the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge. I thought it turned out pretty cute!!
Hope you enjoy my little banner and have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy it no matter what kind of weather you have!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Teri
